AI receptionist

Every call answered. Including the ones at 10:30 pm.

Your receptionist goes home at seven. The phone does not stop at seven. This answers in the caller’s language, at any hour, and up to seven calls at once.

A missed call at an Indian clinic is not a missed call. It is a patient who dialled the next number on the signboard and booked there instead. You never find out, because there is nothing to find out.

What it does on the line

It never confirms an appointment, and it never gives medical advice. The assistant captures the request and says clearly that clinic staff will confirm it. Asked a clinical question, it says the doctor will advise and returns to booking. A person promises, and a doctor advises.

Your number, or a new one

Keep the number printed on your board and on every old prescription, and divert calls to Medigent. Nothing your patients already know has to change. Or take a number with the plan, if you would rather keep the two separate.

What a front desk costs. A full-time receptionist in an Indian clinic runs roughly ₹12,000 to ₹18,000 a month, answers one call at a time and goes home in the evening. The Grow plan is ₹3,999 a month, answers at 4 am, and takes seven calls at once. Patient records and e-prescriptions stay free either way.

Nothing happens unseen

Every call is recorded and transcribed in your panel. Every booking is a request until your staff confirm it. You can read exactly what was said to any patient, on any call, at any time, which is not something you can do with a human front desk on a Sunday evening.

Questions doctors actually ask

Can an AI receptionist really speak Hindi to my patients?

Yes. It answers in natural Hindi and English and switches mid-sentence the way patients actually speak, because most callers to an Indian clinic do not stay in one language for a whole sentence. Speech recognition is tuned for Hindi rather than run on a general multilingual setting.

What happens to calls at night, on Sunday, or during a lunch break?

They get answered. The AI receptionist works 24 hours a day, every day, including the calls at 10:30 pm and 4 am that a front desk will never take. It can hold seven conversations at once, so nobody hears an engaged tone during morning rush.

How is this different from an IVR or a call answering service?

An IVR makes the patient press buttons through a menu. An answering service takes a message for somebody to act on later. This holds an actual conversation, understands what the patient wants, checks your real clinic hours, and writes the request into your system with the day and time the patient asked for.

Does the AI confirm the appointment itself?

No. It captures the request with the patient's name and the day and time they want, and puts it in your panel. Your staff confirm it before it becomes final. The AI never tells a patient the appointment is confirmed, because a person should be the one to promise that.

Do I need a new phone number?

Either works. A plan with voice includes a number, or you can keep the number your patients already know and divert calls to Medigent, so the printed boards and old prescriptions keep working.
