Is e-prescription software legal in India?
Yes. Digital prescriptions issued by a registered medical practitioner are recognised, and the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines set out how they work for remote consultations. The signature step and your registration number are what make the document valid, and both are built in.
Is it really free?
Yes. E-prescriptions, patient records, e-consent, the daily digest and your clinic page are free for life on every plan, with no card and no time limit.
Can the patient use the prescription at any chemist?
Yes. It is a normal prescription with your name, registration number, the medicines and the dosage, delivered digitally instead of on paper.
What happens to the prescription after I write it?
It attaches to that visit in the patient record, reaches the patient digitally, and can be turned into a dose reminder schedule in the free patient app. It also feeds the follow-up loop that checks whether the course was completed.
