The usual story goes like this. A relative’s friend builds a site for ₹15,000. A year later the domain renewal email goes to an address nobody checks. Eighteen months later the site is gone and the clinic is invisible except on somebody else’s listing page.
What you get, the day you publish
It is a working page, not a business card
- Findable on Google, indexed like any other website, with your name, speciality and city
- Patients can message you from it, through a chat assistant that knows your hours and services
- Your health articles publish straight to it, drafted for you to approve, never posted on their own
- Listed in the Medigent doctor directory, so patients browsing by city and speciality can find you
- Shows your registration, council number and qualification, because patients check
Nothing publishes itself. Every article and every change on your page is a draft until you publish it. The assistant drafts; you decide what the public sees.
Why free, and not free-for-a-year. Your page runs on the same servers as your records. It costs us almost nothing per clinic, and a clinic with a live page is a clinic patients can find. We would rather you never thought about it again.
Questions doctors actually ask
Do I need to buy a domain name?
No. Your page lives at medigent.in/dr/your-name and works from the moment you publish it. If you already own a domain you can point it at the page later, but nothing stops working if you never do.
Is it really free, or free for a trial period?
Free on every plan including the free one, with no card and no time limit. Patient records, e-prescriptions, e-consent, the daily digest and your clinic page are the parts that cost nothing for life. The AI receptionist, the scribe and WhatsApp follow-ups are the paid parts.
Will Google actually find it?
Yes. Each page is a real, crawlable page with its own address, title and description, and it is linked from the Medigent doctor directory. It behaves like any other website, because it is one.
Can patients book an appointment from it?
They can reach you from it through the chat assistant, which knows your clinic hours and services and captures a request. Your staff confirm it, the same way they confirm a request that came in by phone.
